What to expect in my Pregnancy yoga classes
🤰 Pregnancy Yoga sequences
I'll check in with you at the start of the class to see how you're feeling. I'm specially trained to tailor each class to your needs that week.
🌀 Breathing exercises for birth
We'll cover breathing techniques that you can use at home to relax, and during birth to support your contractions.
🌈 Birth Advocacy and Empowerment
We will explore birth options and you'll gain the knowledge and confidence to make your own birth choices.
🤝 Community
We have such a lovely community at the Hub and you'll have chance to connect with other supportive local mums.
Who can attend pregnancy yoga?
It’s recommended that if you don’t have a regular yoga or exercise practice before becoming pregnant, come along pregnancy yoga after your 15-week mark, but it’s absolutely your choice.
If you’ve got any ailments that you’re not sure about, check with your midwife or doctor first and let me know what they say on sign up.
About me
I’m Charlotte, I run Pendle Wellbeing hub. I’ve felt a pull to pregnancy yoga since my teacher training - I love helping women stay strong and feel relaxed at such a transformative time.
When I was pregnant with Roe last year, having a space every week to practice my breathing techniques and stretch in ways that actually felt good made such a difference. When do we ever get to just chill with our bump?
I trained with Lushtums and they have such a unique approach - time to chat at the start, sequences that are personal to you based on your symptoms that week, and a long gorgeous relaxation at the end 💆♀️
The breathwork practices (golden thread especially) genuinely helped me to stay calm and connected to my body through my home birth.
